Close the Gap
Where you are. Where you want to be.
It's that simple.
Maybe you know exactly what you want to change. Maybe you just know that where you are now isn't where you want to stay. Either way, the work starts in the same place: understanding what's actually keeping the gap open — and changing it.
The problem isn't always where you think it is.
Most of us naturally focus on what's happening at the surface.
The stress. The behaviour. The physical response. The thing you keep avoiding. The decision you can't make. The result you keep getting.

Those things are real. But they're also the result.

Underneath them are the beliefs, patterns, strategies, values, experiences, and automatic responses that influence how you experience and respond to what's happening around you.

That's where things get interesting.

Meet Kirsty
I'm probably not what you picture when you think of someone working with NLP and hypnotherapy.
Before this, my world was numbers, systems, processes and business.
I've worked as a corporate accountant and advisor inside large national and global organisations, then built my own successful analytics business working with organisations to understand what was happening, why it was happening and what needed to change.
I got very good at finding the structure underneath a problem.
And eventually I became far more interested in applying that same curiosity to people.
Because you can have the strategy. You can understand the numbers. You can know what you should do next.
And still not do it.
That's where my work changed.
Today, my training includes NLP, Time Line Therapy and Clinical Hypnotherapy. But I haven't left the analytical part of me behind.
I still want to understand:
What's actually happening here?
How is it being created?
And what needs to change to get a different result?
It's practical. It's grounded. And occasionally we'll do something that seems completely left of centre.
That's usually where it gets interesting.

What would you like to be different?
Sometimes it's obvious. Sometimes it's a collection of little things that have slowly become normal. You might recognise yourself in some of these:
Or maybe none of those quite describe it. That's okay.
You don't need a perfect label for what's happening. You just need to know what you'd rather have instead.
The problem you experience is the starting point.

What you're experiencing
This is the part you already know.
Stress. Pressure. Fear. Physical responses.
Low confidence. Overthinking. Habits. Avoidance. Feeling stuck. Or simply not getting the result you want.

It gives us somewhere to start.

02
What's creating it?
This is where we go underneath the obvious.
Beliefs. Patterns. Strategies. Values. Past experiences. Automatic responses. The way you've learned to organise and respond to your world.

Rather than only asking what you think, feel, or do, we become interested in how you're creating that experience.

What do you want instead?
This is where the work stays focused.
Not endlessly analysing what's wrong.
Not changing who you are.

Changing the things that no longer serve where you're going — so you can move towards what you actually want.

The Position that Holds
At its core, this work develops an internal reference point that remains stable regardless of external conditions. It allows complex situations to be met without urgency, competing demands to be handled without trade-off, and forward movement to occur without self-pressure. From this position, direction is chosen rather than negotiated, and progress feels coherent across professional and personal domains. Those who engage at this level are not seeking reassurance or optimisation, but a way of operating that remains intact as context, expectations, and scale continue to change.
